The creative transformation studio is a new One Swinburne initiative designed to help academics explore creative outlets, including art appreciation, creative writing, performance and journaling. This first workshop will consist of a series of short activities led by Swinburne researchers who work across the sciences, humanities and creative arts. Creative expression can help stimulate ideas, overcome writer’s block in other forms of writing (e.g. academic research) and improve mental health and wellbeing. These techniques are used by some of the most influential scientists and researchers, as well as business leaders, entrepreneurs and start-up innovators. Come join us for a casual introduction to various techniques intended to unlock your creativity and improve wellbeing. Be part of the conversation shaping future workshops and share your own tips with a supportive group of fellow researchers. Everyone is welcome and no previous experience is necessary!
