BIO
Fan Liu is Adjunct Research Fellow at Swinburn University of Technology. Fan obtained a PhD degree at the Australian National University in 2016 and was then employed as a postdoctoral researcher at Lund University (Sweden) for 3 years.
Fan's research mainly focus on high precision stellar spectroscopy, and elemental abundances of stars (e.g., planet hosts, binaries, solar twins, and open cluster stars). I'm interested in the connections between star and planet formation, Galactic chemical evolution, and Galactic archaeology. Fan uses high-quality spectra from large telescopes all over the world (e.g., Keck, VLT, and Gemini) for research projects.
