I am an early career researcher with expertise in narrative, media audiences, and franchising. I am currently developing my PhD A Brief History of the Shared Universe into a monograph that will be published by Routledge in 2027. I have already published the co-edited collection Televisual Shared Universes (Bloomsbury Press), a number of peer-reviewed journal articles and chapters, and a dozen conference presentations. I have taught and convened 12 units at Swinburne University and College across a number of disciplines, with units including Introduction to Media Studies, Understanding Data, Screen Studies, Popular Culture of the Asia Pacific, Global Media Industries, and Screen Franchising and Innovation to name a few. 

My interests range from comic books, to Godzilla, to early 1900s sci fi and to the Super Sentai and Power Rangers franchises
