Dr Ruichen Ma is a Lecturer in Accounting and Finance in the Department of Accounting, Economics and Finance at Swinburne University of Technology. She received her PhD in Accounting and Finance from the University of Wollongong in 2024, following a Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) and a Bachelor of Business (Honours) with First Class Honours from RMIT University. Her research examines issues in banking and investment, accounting, auditing and accountability, ESG, and FinTech. Her work has been published in leading international journals ranked A* and A by the Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC). Dr Ma has extensive teaching experience across undergraduate and postgraduate accounting and finance programs. In addition to her research and teaching, she actively contributes to the international academic community as an anonymous reviewer for leading ABDC A* and A ranked journals across accounting, finance, economics, and management.
