BIO
Rod Charlie Delos Reyes is an occupational therapist, researcher, community advocate, and educator with extensive clinical and academic experience in both the Philippines and Australia. His doctoral research focused on occupational justice, inclusive healthcare, and LGBTQ+ health, with a strong emphasis on advancing equitable and culturally responsive care. Alongside his research, Charlie has significant practice experience working with children and families, and is actively involved in advancing the occupational therapy profession, as well as contributing to organizational and community development initiatives.
He served as a Board Member of the Philippine Academy of Occupational Therapists from 2016 to 2025, contributing to the advancement of the profession at a national level. He continues to engage in teaching, research, and curriculum development, demonstrating a strong commitment to evidence-based practice, leadership, and social accountability in occupational therapy.
