Ms Amy is an experienced academic and nursing professional with 25 years of clinical expertise in intensive care and over 6 years as a lecturer in higher education. She brings a strong background in critical care nursing to her teaching, where she focuses on bridging theory with practice and fostering student learning in clinical contexts.
Her research interests centre on planetary health and the sustainability of nursing practice, alongside a strong focus on supporting international nursing students during clinical placements to enhance their learning experiences and integration into the workforce. Amy is passionate about creating inclusive, supportive educational environments that empower students to succeed both academically and professionally.
